Before submitting your application form for the Chevening Scholarship Application Service and obtaining your university admission from the institution for free, please consider the following:
- Extracting your university admissions Free As an initiative of the Foundation, and does not entail any financial fees.
- After obtaining university acceptances, you can apply for the British scholarship yourself or through us for $3 for Yemenis, and $13 for non-Yemenis.
- In case you request our services to register for the British Chevening Scholarship, you are required to submit the following: academic record, CV, motivation letter, two academic recommendations, work experience certificates, and everything related to strengthening your file.

Chevening Scholarships are an international scholarship programme offered by the UK government to talented international students with leadership potential. These scholarships enable students to study in the UK for a Master’s degree in any field of study of their choice at a UK university. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, airfare and other study-related costs.

You can view the Chevening Scholarship application timeline via the link Application Timeline | CheveningThe table shows the different stages that applicants for the scholarship go through, starting from the opening of the application on August 6, 2024, through the evaluation of applications and conducting interviews, until the announcement of the results in June 2025, with studies starting in the United Kingdom in September or October 2025.
- A citizen of a Chevening eligible country.
- Committed to returning to your home country for at least two years after the scholarship ends.
- You have two years of practical experience (2,800 hours).
- Hold a university degree that qualifies you for a Masters programme in the UK.

You cannot apply if you hold British or dual nationality, or are employed by the UK government or a Chevening partner organisation.
Choosing the right Master’s programme is a crucial step in your Chevening journey. Here’s everything you need to know to make informed decisions.
In your Chevening application form, you will be asked to provide three choices of UK Master’s programmes in order of priority. It is up to you whether you wish to apply for these programmes before or after submitting your Chevening application. What is important is that you do not miss the application deadlines for any UK university and that you receive an unconditional offer from at least one of the programmes by the deadline specified in the application schedule.
- Eligible Programs: Use the tool Chevening Search To ensure that your choices are eligible for the scholarship.
Software Requirements: Software must be:
- Full time.
- It starts in the fall semester (usually September/October).
- Taught Masters programmes (not research programmes like MRes).
- It leads to a Masters degree, and you can study a second Masters if you have a previous Masters.
- Based in the UK.
Programs cannot be:
- Part-time or remote.
- Less than nine months or more than 12 months.
- PhD or DPhil programs
- Be more than a month of study outside the UK.

- MBA Programme Fee Limit: There is a fee limit applicable to MBA programmes which requires you to cover any additional cost over £22,000.
- London Campus: If your university has a campus in London in addition to the main campus, you can only study at the London campus if the programme is not available at the main campus. If the programme is available at both campuses, you must attend at the main campus.
- Programme accuracy: Ensure that your programmes meet the Chevening funding criteria. We will verify programme eligibility after the interview stage.
- Oxford Diploma in Diplomatic Studies: The Oxford Diploma in Diplomatic Studies is the only postgraduate diploma you can study under a Chevening Scholarship. All other programmes must be taught Masters degrees.

Based on eight years of experience in university applications, here are the most important points for preparing a competitive graduate student file:
- Achieving an outstanding academic averageThe student must obtain a minimum GPA of 4/5 or 3/4 or 85%, depending on the requirements of different universities.
- Preparing a strong resumeThe student must include his achievements in the CV, which include:
- English proficiencyFor a master’s degree (not less than 6 in IELTS), while for a doctorate degree, you must obtain 7 or above in the IELTS test or similar, and the required scores vary according to the university or country. There is expected news in the coming months about making the IELTS test available for Yemen digitally, taking into account the current circumstances.
- Five development training coursesIncluding at least one course in computer science, and other courses related to the desired specialization, and it is preferable that the courses be recent.
- Additional Activities and Achievements:
- Volunteer or sports activitiesOr work experience during the past three years, provided that the hours are not less than 2800 hours or two years.
- Certificates of appreciation and computer programsProficiency in the use of computer programs, involvement in student club memberships or research organizations, and participation in conferences, with the receipt of certificates of appreciation or awards.
- Scientific recommendationsSubmit at least two academic recommendations from professors who taught the student the most, especially in the subjects in which he obtained the highest grades.
- Research proposalSome universities require a research proposal, preferably in English, and the university's requirements in this regard must be adhered to.
- Contact and Personal InformationThe student must have a valid contact number, at least two social media accounts, and accounts in research organizations (the office can be used to do this).
- Scientific publishingThe student must publish his research on scientific platforms appropriate to his specialization, to enhance his research and professional reputation in his field. This is what the institution’s journal will provide, which appears on the most prominent search engines (type ACAPRS JOURNAL).

Choosing three programs gives you backup options if your first choice doesn't work out and helps applicant evaluators better understand your career goals.
You must apply directly to each of your chosen universities through their websites. Each university may have a different application process, and will usually require:
- Motivational letter or personal statement.
- English language test results.
- Proof of previous qualifications.
- Academic and professional references.

In general, you cannot change your program choices after you have submitted your application. In exceptional circumstances, changes may be allowed at the interview stage.
Pre-sessional courses that are intended to meet the English language or other requirements of your university are not permitted and will result in you losing your Chevening Scholarship for this programme.
Some programmes, such as Law, Mathematics and Science, may require mandatory preparatory elements known as preparatory courses. If this applies to you, inform your Chevening Programme Officer.
Do not enrol on optional pre-sessional courses before the official programme start date, even if you are self-funding them. You must attend a pre-departure briefing at the British Embassy or High Commission in your country.
Please note that procedures will not be expedited for early arrival in the UK, and immigration advice will not be provided outside of the official Chevening scholarship dates.
Application deadlines vary, so check each programme’s website for specific dates. It is not necessary to apply to universities before completing your Chevening application, but you must have an unconditional offer from at least one programme by the deadline specified in the application schedule.
Unconditional admission from a UK university is guaranteed admission to the programme without any additional requirements.
To complete your Chevening Scholarship, you will need to provide evidence that you have received an unconditional offer from one of your chosen programmes. You must upload your unconditional offer letter to the online application system by the deadline specified in the application schedule. The only acceptable condition is a financial requirement (such as paying an advance payment). You must ensure that you have met all other requirements of the University by the Chevening Scholarship deadline.
Choosing a programme at a Chevening partner university does not affect the amount of funding you receive. You can choose any eligible programme at any UK university.
